On the commercial side of the industry, Benjamin’s freelance videography career spanned everything from corporate advertising to Times Square billboard displays, to full-length episodes of children's programming. When not actively creating, he has also served as a panelist for artistic grants, a judge for film festivals across the US, and a guest lecturer for acting and filmmaking students at notable Pittsburgh institutions.

Benjamin holds a BFA from Edinboro University with a concentration in Cinema. His debut feature film “Galatea” made its world premiere at the Austin Revolution Film Festival (The #1 festival on FilmFreeway), earning Best Director, Best Screenplay, and the Margaret Ann Garza Actress of the Year award. It is now available for streaming on most streaming platforms. Benjamin currently works full-time producing video content for the mental health awareness non-profit "The Strong Mind Project."
